There wasn't really a lot of math in the course, it's more about concepts (pattern recognition, classification, data set size, data quality, biases). The two apps - quickdraw.withgoogle.com, teachablemachine.withgoogle.com - presented in the course might however be good to introduce some of these concepts hands on in class.
